Each Summer, Make closes for 2 weeks to provide it's staff a proper Summer Break and to allow us to refresh and create for the upcoming year. Make will be closed 8/15 - 9/1/2010 Classes on August 28th are as scheduled.Emails and voicemails will be returned upon our reopening.

At Make we harbor a passion for things made by hand with all the little imperfections that come with learning something new. We encourage trial and error and experimenting with how functional and handcrafted items are made. In 2005 we opened Make as an answer to a void in the market that we felt should serve those that wanted to learn traditional crafts but make modern projects. We wanted a place that could provide you with a place that had space to work, tools you needed, a place to meet new friends, take classes and most of all, to be inspired.In today’s tech driven world we have found that people are craving the time to make things with their hands, to take a step back and grant themselves some “craft time” in their hectic-over scheduled lives. We hope Make will give you that reason and place to slow down, take a class, shop for locally made product and be YOUR creative outlet.
