We are taking new applications for 2010, please apply by the 31st of the month before each new quarter. We wil be in touch by the 10th of the month following those below. We will generally need for you to stock by the end of the month.
So for example: Jan 31st Deadline. Notified by Feb 10th, need stock by end of Feb in store.

Make is dedicated to bringing the most unique and hip handmade fashions, jewelry, accessories and home items to the Dallas area and we would love the opportunity to take a look at what you Make.
Make has been featured in numerous magazines, newspapers, online blogs and on television for it’s handmade philosophy, we are always looking for people to add to that community.
If you are interested in submitting your work on consignment please send an email to shop@themakesite.com and include the following information (be sure to put subject | consignment) so that it does not go into our spam folder:
- Contact Name
- Company name
- Tell us about your work
- Retail Price Points (60/40 – 60% to the designer, you set your own prices)
- Pictures of your work, please do not send extra large files, we will not be able to accept them. We do prefer if you can, just send the url to your flickr, photobucket, or website.
We highly encourage all applicants to have visited the store as browsers or shoppers before applying for consignment. It is important to know your market.
Also, be sure you check out the Urban Street Bazaar (next show October 2/3 in Bishop Arts). Most of our vendors either do the shows or have come from doing the Urban Bazaar. www.urbanstreetbazaar.com
Please understand that we get too many submissions to respond to everyone. We will only reply if we believe your work would be a good fit for the store and our target market. Our target market is generally 16 - 45, urban dwellers, handmade enthusiasts seeking something unique at the edge of the fashion curve. Please note that traditional craft products do not sell well with our target market and therefore we generally will not accept such products. We usually respond within two weeks but keep in mind that we are a very small business and sometimes it's hard to get back to people right away. Please no in-store submissions, and we cannot respond to every submission, so please understand.
In addition, if you are to be a successful local seller at Make you must be able to come through about once a month and check your inventory, restock any sold items, etc. This generally takes place Wed-Friday 12-6pm and Sunday 12-4pm Never on Saturdays! For out of towners, shipping stock will be permitted.
