Summer Camps for Youth
Each Camp is 1 week and students may enroll in more than one camp per Summer.
Each Camp Session is unique and students will be engaged in different projects per session, signing up for 2 weeks will allow your student different projects and challenges.
Examples of Projects:
High School - Fashion History, Fashion Sketching, Pattern Making, Handbag Design, Clothing Design, Fabric Manipulation & Dyes, Embellishments, Using a Serger, Patchwork, Screen Printing, PhotoShoots, Styling, and Logo Design.
Junior High - Fashion Sketching, Patterns, Handbags & Clothing Design, Fabric Dyes and Screen Printing, Tshirt Design, Quilting, Glass Etching, Pillow Design, Cardmaking, HandEmbroidery, Accessories and Embellishments, etc.
Elementary - Sewing, Tshirt Design, A Girls Best Accessories Design, Mirror Etching, Embroidery, Screen Printing, Embellishing, Handbag Design, and more.
Each student tuition must be paid in full and this includes all supplies. Tuition also includes a snack and beverages during the morning and afternoon. Students with diet restrictions or allergies are encouraged to bring their own snacks/drinks.
For Full Day Camps: Lunches can be brought from home or a lunch will be provided for $6.00 Cash. Students will be given a menu on Monday of the upcoming lunches for order.
Camps are held at our Studio located at 313 N. Bishop Avenue Dallas, TX 75208 in the Historic Bishop Arts District.
If you are a parent enrolling siblings into any of our camps, same or different sessions, a $40.00 discount
(USE DISCOUNT CODE: family)
is given to total tuition. This discount is for siblings only and enrollment must be made at the same time to receive the discount. Each session of Camp Make is a little different, so enrolling your student in another session is not out of the question!
Students will provide their own lunches or bring $6.00 cash to purchase a lunch from Hunky's Hamburgers (3 doors down from Make).
Make will provide all beverages and snacks for the week. Drop off: 8am Early Drop off: 8:30 is available for an extra $15.00 per day Pick up: 4pm Late Pick up: until 5pm is available for an extra $15.00 per half hour/ per day
If students will be driving themselves, they will be required to stay on site during all hours of the camp, from 9-4pm. All students must be picked up by only those stated on the registration form. If changes to this form need to be made, they must be in writing, delivered in person at drop off, or by email to shop@themakesite.com, no later than 30 minutes prior to pick up.
