This project will teach you how to choose a pattern, read it and use it to take on future projects using patterns.
Are you completely lost when trying to translate a commercial or store bought pattern? In this class we will cover all the sewing definitions and proper terminology, pattern layout and cutting.
When purchasing your pattern for this class, be sure to use the measurements and not your TRADITIONAL STORE SIZE, we'll explain everything in the class. |

Features
- Create a project from a store bought pattern. We'll teach you how to get started, how to understand the lingo of those silly things and all the other information you will need to read the code of pattern. Start from opening the pattern, cutting the pieces, working through the instructions and leaving with a finished project! Cropped Cotton Gauchos or Use this class to create pajama bottoms! Most supplies included.
- register at least 48 hours in advance to allow for supply gathering, part of the class experience is buying the correct supplies from the back of the pattern. We have included the supply list here to help out.
- LEVEL: Take at least 3 sewing classes or have equal experience to understand the construction methods, lingo, and have formed your sewing machine habits. This class does not cover machine basics.
